Abstract	:	factorial ANOVA. The findings showed that there was a high correlation between anaphoric resolution ability, academic performance and language proficiency. Anaphoric resolution was also affected by underlying linguistic and textual factors, such as the type and inferential rigidity of anaphoric ties.
