Abstract	:	This project presents a new strategy to improve power-factor of the induction machine.This strategy consists in the connection of a voltage source converter to the rotor of aninduction machine with wound rotor to improve its power-factor and to even achieve apurely resistive operation, while keeping the robustness of the cage induction machine(absence of rings). Considering the broad use of induction machines, this strategy whichcan be easily integrated on the rotor and which has the advantage.
