Abstract	:	A method for frequency diplexing is presented. Frequency diplexing is achieved by ex-ploiting the spatial filtering properties of planar anisotropic transmission-line metama-terials. It is shown that in such metamaterials when two of the three diagonal elementsof the permeability tensor are opposite in sign, the metamaterial exhibits conical high-field regions called "resonance cones" whose angle varies with the operating frequency..
