Abstract	:	Modulation is used when transmitting a radio signal. The reverse process which is knownas Demodulation is done in the receiver. There are Merent types of modulation techniquesused including Analog and Digital modulation. Automatic Modulation Recognition is thetechnique of identifying the modualtion used in an intercepted radio signal. It providesuseful information in electronic war- and radio kquency spectrum management. Someprevious work has been done to cbsi@ the radio signals based on the modulation scheme.Signah are represented by Feature Vectors. These feature vectors are based on statisticalparameters of the time do& of the signals. Unsupervised Networks i.e. Self OrganizingMap(S0M) and Genetic Algorithms(GAs) has been used to classify the signals representedby these Feature Vectors..
