Abstract	:	Numerous river systems in Manitoba, Canada, and around the world have beenaffected by the environmental changes that follow hydroelectric development andassociated hydro operations. Predicting the potential impacts of a proposed or existinghydroelectric development on fisheries resources is a complex process. Personsevaluating the impacts may be faced with the necessity of making decisions even thoughall of the necessary or desirable information is not available.
