Abstract	:	Existing approaches for logical topology design and rouring for multi-hop opticalnetworks become intractable for large networks. One approach which has been used is totreat the IogicaI topology design problem separately korn the routing problem which canbe solved as a LP problem. The straightforward formulation of the LP problem has beenreported but this is also feasible only for relatively smaller nerworks since the basis size.
