Abstract	:	This research is devoted to the development of an intelligent production schedulingsys tern.The constraints in design and manufacturing aspects are considered in productionscheduling. Design constraints are modeled using a featurebased product representationscheme. Manufacturing constraints are defmed as available resources, including facilitiesand persons. Manufacturing requirements, including tasks and precedence constraints foraccomplishing these tasks, are desmid as part of product feature descriptions.The two intelligent scheduling fiulctions - predictive scheduling and reactivescheduling are implemented in a multi-agent envirotmeat.
