Abstract	:	The design of grid-connected photovoltaic wind generator system supplying afarmstead in Nebraska has been undertaken in this dissertation. The design process tookinto account competing criteria that motivate the use of different sources of energy forelectric generation. The criteria considered were 'Financial', 'Environmental', and'User/System compatibility'.A distance based multi-objective decision making methodology was developed torank design altematives.
