Abstract	:	Various phenomena in magnetic tape recording are studied. The objective is tounderstand the complicated recording process from the underlying magnetization level.In the course of this work. a Vector Particle Hysteresis Model was used to describe thewrite process, and a micro-magnetic MR head model was developed to study thenonlinear read back process.
