Abstract	:	For power system operation, the a~ceptance of reliability is detamined on the basisof design criteria expressed in terms of contingencies of predefined severity that the +emis able to withstand with acoepfable transient and steady state performance. The essentialoperating objective is the &livery to the customas of power with roeplabk quality atminimum cost. Both the meaning of "minimum cost" and "acceptable qualrty" are the resuitof a number of technical, ecommic, and ccobgical perceptions which evolve with time. Inthe work presented m this d-n, an mtcgrated Gamework for value-based reliabilityconstrained power system stability with a knefit alhcation scheme for muhi utility powersystem is proposed. The scheme oooskts of two main parts.
