Abstract	:	Multi-Hop Wireless Ad-Hoc Network is the third generation of wireless networks. Itallows kquent changes in network topology, high mobility rate, roaming, and requiresminimum support from an existing network infrastructure. Client nodes in this neh~orkare usually mobile in nature and otten have limited resources, computing power, andtransmission range. Consequently, these clients have limited capability to compute newroutes and to forward data packets initiated from another node. This thesis evaluates twoof the routing protocols proposed by the workgroup at Internet Engineering Task Force,which is developing protocol specifications for routing in the Multi-Hop Wireless Ad-Hoc Networks. Our evaluations are carried out using Network Simulator version 2 withdynamic source routing @SRe and ad-hoc distance vector (AODV) protocolsincorporated.
