Abstract	:	The widespread use of the internet has created a need for technologies for theprotection of copyrighted digital information. Digital watermarking is one suchtechnology in which a preferably imperceptible signal (watemzark) is embedded into acopyrighted host signal. Digital watermarks are prone to a wide range of "attacks" andother forms of distortion.
