Abstract : Fonnal Concept Analysis b o sound methodology for information structuring andknowledge extraction. At the theoreticul level, several mathematical properties hauebeen proved and some eflcient algorithms for building the lattice structure and howl-edge dotabwe derivation from crisp data have been proposed and developed. At thepractical level, we can find seveml data mining tools, which haue been applied tovarious m l data.Statting fmm the bibliogmphid database on f o m d concept analysis and fromfuty set theory we have eztended formal concept analysis to the case of fuwy bi-nary relations. At the theoretiad level new theoretical delinitions and properties havebeen be developed. Specificclly, we have defined fuly Galois connection and fuzyknowledge extmction. Algorithms have also been developed for fuzy Galozs latticegeneration. We have also extmcted a minimal and complete set of implications fromf t u t y relations, as well..,....-...,..tested for theQ1 PC1 bus cardBoth these projects mere sofixare des elopment efforts tonards contributing to dlfferentaspects of Roboucs and lZ1echatronics projects m the Controls and Roboucs Group..
