Abstract	:	Having an on-chip voltage reference is important in modem mixed-mode VLSIsystems. Therefore. a bandgap voltage reference is essential in modem mixed-signalcircuits. Two bandgap voltage references with different supply voltages (5V and 3.3V)are presented in this paper. These bandgap voitage reference circuits are implemented ina partially-depleted SO1 technology. A brief discussion of the advantages of using SO1technology in designing a bandgap voltage reference is presented. Other than that, thispaper presents the basic principle of a bandgap voltage reference. Also. the procedureused in designing both bandgap voltage references is discussed.
