Abstract	:	Schistosomiasis is a water-borne parasitic disease endemic in tropical andsubtropical areas. Its transmission requires certain kind of snail as the intermediate host.Some efforts have been made to mapping snail habitats with remote sensing andschistosomiasis transmission modeling. However, the modeling is limited to isolatedresidential groups and does not include spatial interaction among those groups.
