Abstract : This essay examines the relations between the production of oil and gas, the globalexpansion of capital and the territorial control and division of geographical space. Themain argument is that the historical expansion of capital, and the subsequent inter-capitalistcompetition, has produceld and has come to depend on a geographical contradictionbetween an open and integrated world economy and its division into exclusive economicterritories. This contradiction is the result of the contradiction between the conditions foraccumulation for individual (national) capitals and the conditions for accumulation fortested for theQ1 PC1 bus cardBoth these projects mere sofixare des elopment efforts tonards contributing to dlfferentaspects of Roboucs and lZ1echatronics projects m the Controls and Roboucs Group..
