Abstract	:	In this research, a ground based remote sensing data acquisition system collectedhigh spatial and temporal resolution data from an irrigated broccoli crop. The system wascomposed of a small cart that ran back and forth on a rail system that was mounted on alinear move irrigation system. The cart was equipped with an instrument that measuredreflectance at 4 discrete wavelengths; 550 nm, 660 nm, 720 nm, and 810 nm, and aninfrared thermometer; all sensors had a 10 nm bandwidth. A global positioning systemwas used to indicate the cart position.The study consisted of two parts. The first evaluated remotely sensed reflectanceand indices in broccoli during the growing season. and determined whether remotelytested for theQ1 PC1 bus cardBoth these projects mere sofixare des elopment efforts tonards contributing to dlfferentaspects of Roboucs and lZ1echatronics projects m the Controls and Roboucs Group..
