Abstract	:	Traditionally, consumer wireless telecommunications services have been providedusing cellular architectures where many mobile wireless terminals communicate di-rectly with a single fixed base station with a wired connection to the public telecom-munications infrastructure. Whereas in multihop radio networks, the terminals com-municate via multiple nodes between them instead of direct link between a source anddestination.In this thesis, we work on a wireless system wherein traditional transmission con-straints are removed in order to allow direct communication between mobile ter-minals. Multihop relaying networks allow mobile terminals to participate in thetransmission of information when they are neither the initial source or the final des-tination (ad hoc mode) or between a base station and the destination mobile stationcontaining multiple relaying hop nodes (cellular mode). Various QoS parameters likeend-to-end BER, eSfect of MAI and error burst length histogram are evaluated at thephysical layer under various scenarios.Keywords: Multihop,.
