Abstract : 1 Although mysteries of humans are unknown at present, the human brain still has manymysteries. Cerebral tissue damage can be seen noninvasively usingultrasound, X-ray CT or Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) imaging techniques onlyafter a few weeks. Near-infrared spectroscopy is a non-invasivemonitoring technology for monitoring oxygen state in a tissue.
