Abstract	:	This Thesis presents a detailed study about the various changes inperformance of Local Area Network (LAN), Metropolitan Area Network(MAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) that were inevitable with theevolution of 10Gigabit and 100Gigabit Ethernet.The transmission of data at the speed of a Gigabit per second overcopper enhanced the performance of the network with respect to speedand it also eliminated the redesign cost. This is explained in detail withexamples of fast growing.
