Abstract	:	The main advantage of using a DC motor in today's world is its ability to controlspeed and position. Many controllers have been designed so far to reduce the overshootand settling time so as to give a better performance. This thesis focuses on speed controlof a DC motor using an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy controller. This controller is based onAdaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS), which aims at reducing the steadystate error and rise time.
