Abstract	:	This study was motivated by the researcher's wish to reveal the cultural quality of the English translations of Persian historical tourist catalogues and brochures produced by Iranian non-native translators. In order to do so, English historical tourist catalogues and brochures translated from their Persian source texts by Iranian non-native translators including Tourist Map of Historical City of Isfahan (2011) and Isfahan (2010) were carefully studied. 30 texts were selected and subjected to cultural analysis based on Ivir's (1987) proposed model of dealing with culture-specific items. Considering 67 terms in Table 4.1., out of 198 cells of the table, 27 cells were labeled on Addition, 11 cells on Definition, 15 cells on Omission, 7 cells on Borrowing, 10 cells on Literal Translation, 11 cells on Substitution, and 2 cells on Lexical Creation. Out of these 198 cells, 16 cells related to two strategies applied for one term simultaneously mostly including Addition and Definition strategies. Based on the discussion of the results obtained from this study, it can be concluded that while the English translation of Persian historical tourist catalogues and brochures produced by Iranian non-native translators was not adequate enough, the most frequent strategy applied in the translations was Addition and the least predominant strategy was Lexical Creation..
