Abstract	:	Data envelopment analysis models are used to measure the technical and scale efficiencies of a system when it is considered as a whole unit. In some cases, DMUs may have a two-stage structure in which all the outputs from the first process become the inputs of the second. Recently, the overall efficiency of two-stage process under CRS assumption has been defined as the product of the efficiencies of two individual stages. More recently, the overall efficiency of two-stage process has been modeled as a weighted sum of the efficiencies of two individual stages. This thesis looks into further two-stage DEA and proposes the combined DEA models for efficiency evaluation in two-stage process..
