Abstract	:	english translation, Discourse strategy, literary texts.-views and ideologies which are normally different from those of the original authors. The results reveal that there are significant changes made by the translators, either intentionally or unintentionally, in their selection of lexical items and use of grammatical strategies in comparison to those in the source literary text. The results also indicate and support the presence of mediation in translations in the form of different translation strategies.
