Abstract	:	The present study was worked to analyse the role of intercultural communication (ICC) between Persian and English languages. Different Divans translations were investigated to ascertain the Sufistic aspects and messages of Hafez's ghazals that had not been adequately translated and ignored. The researcher devided Hafezs versions into two groups: Romantic versions, and Spiritual versions. He analyzed two famous couplets of them in detail. The findings obtained from the analyses of the related data showed that there were some mismatches between the cultural elements. As expected, there was no one to one correspondence between the cultural elements in Persian and English..
