Abstract	:	This work addresses the research challenges involved in the design of active matrixorganic light emitting diode (AMOLED) displays using amorphous silicon (a-Si). A-Sitechnology is desirable for active matrix backplanes due to its maturity, cost-effectiveness,and process simplicity. However, it is an inherently disordered material, and suffers.
