Abstract	:	While many classes of Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) algorithms have beendeveloped since its introduction in 1966 for the rectangular and curvilinear coordinatesystems, it was found that there still remains a large class of geometrically complex multi-object problems that are not efficiently solvable by either of the systems alone.
