Abstract	:	The modeling of Geomagnetically Induced Currents (GICs) on networked conductors isdiscussed. A non-uniform influence near the surface of the Earth is modeled. Acomplex-image calculation method that models the auroral electrojet as an infinitecurrent filament is used. Theoretical examples show the necessity of using in-line.
