Abstract	:	Methane reforming is an important process for the production of synthesis gas andhydrogen. It has been extensively studied for fuel cell applications in recent years.Ni-based catalysts are important catalysts for methane reforming reactions. In this thesisa series of Ni-A1203 catalysts with or without Ce, Co and Mg promoters were prepared byco-precipitation, impregnation and sol-gel methods. The catalysts were characterized bythe techniques of N2 physisorption, H2 chemisorption, TPR, XRD, SEM and TEM. The.
