Abstract	:	In this thesis, we present a methodology for the modeling and implementation of SoC'stargeted for the fast growing multimedia applications market. Our co-design approachaims at shortening the design cycle and requires a separation of the internal behaviorfrom the interface behavior for the design blocks. We propose to use, SystemC, a recentlyintroduced description language. SystemC promises a homogeneous design flow andallows to take advantage of C++ expressiveness to model the system. An approach forabstracting and synthesizing the interfaces is proposed. A methodology that minimizesthe coding effort to reach the synthesized hardware and.
