Abstract	:	Rapid advancements in microelectronics technology are increasing the feasibility for alarger scale of integration. Commercial products have been announced or produced that in-tegrate a processor and DRAM on one chip, or that integrate multiple processors and theirSRAM caches on the same chip. Various research efforts are being carried out to investigatethe possibilities of integrating logic and memory on the same chip. Logidmemory integra-tion offers an opportunity to bridge the processor/memory performance gap which has beenincreasing in the past decades..
