Abstract	:	We present analysis of a novel multimode fibre tailored to allow thecreation of fibre Bragg gratings with narrowband, high reflectivity; response. Theproposed fibre consists of concentric cylindrical shells of higher and lowerrefractive index material. Modal propagation characteristics, and theirdependence on fibre structural parameters, are examined using finite element.
