Abstract	:	This thesis is dedicated to applying and developing explicit formulas for the design andimplementation of odd-order lattice lowpass wave digital filters (WDFs) on a Digital SignalProcessor (DSP), such as a Motorola DSP56307EVM (Evaluation Module). The direct designmethod of G m i for filter types such as Butterworfb, Chebyshev, inverse Chebyshev, andCauer (Elliptic) provides a straightforward method for calculating the coefficients without anextensive knowledge of digital signal processing..
