Abstract : Radar imaging can be viewed mathematically as solving a linear operator equationand the Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) algorithm is often used to obtain a solutionin real time. However, the conjugate gradient method(CGA4) can also be used toform the image. Other than slower computational speed than the FFT method, theCGM, in general, forms better quality images and can be used when the radar dataare segmented. -4s a demonstration, images were formed for computer generated dataof three point scatterers where the data are either unevenly spaced or missing in fre-quencies or in look angles..
