Abstract	:	Cutler Hammer is a manufacturing company that produces electric switches for domesticand commercial use. This company needs to increase production in one of itsrnanufhcturing lines by over 200 . To incorporate the randomness in processing times andto model the interrelationship among the components of the system computer simulationwas used. A fixtorial experimental design 28-4 was used to determine the best operatingconditions. The fktors selected for experimentation were: number of operators in the sixworkstations, number of machines in the testing area and number of work shifts. Theexperimental results revealed that all the fictors and their interactions were significant.
