Abstract	:	The performance of new battery technology is one of the most crucial aspects ofthe movement toward the widespread adoption of electrically powered vehicles. Thisthesis describes the performance of Nickel Zinc batteries. The goals of the evaluationwas to find:ae The ratings of the battery at different temperatures (-20,0, +20 and +40پ‍-C).bo Determine the suitability for using this battery in an electric vehicle.cB Compare the results of different battery discharge algorithms, i.e., constantcurrent, constant power and realistic load.Testing was done at the Battery Evaluation Lab at UML, which is described indetail.Two specimens of the Evercel Evertroll battery were tested.
