Abstract	:	Video sequences with rapid motion are more o r less degraded at low bit ratetrinsm ission. Hence motion compensation technique is implemented to improve the codingcllicisncy. Multimode video coding is used that optimizes the tndeotr between thecon tl k t iny objectives of high compression ratio and error resilience. Full search methodtogether with MAD matching criterion is used for motion compensation. Motion vectors aamedian predicted and then differentially encoded.
