Abstract	:	In this thesis multiple aspects of several many-body systems arc studied using dif-fora~lt rechniques. \!$st of the chaptcrs arc sc!f-contained and I *xi11 ncx Siicfl:; - - I _ . - . .sumnlarize their content. Chapter I is introductory and gives a brief overview ofthe topics. In chapter 2. after solving the Schrodinger equation for a time dependenttwo-electron system, we calculate the exact exchange-correlation potential that.in the mainframe of Time Dependent Density Functional Theory. enters the "Kohn-Sham" equations. This exact result will be compared with various approximate formsfor P,,'. In chapter 3 we study the collective dynamics of electrons at the edge of asystem.
