Abstract	:	Multiple acceaa by code division multiple access (CDMA) has been widely adoptedby the emerging wirelees systems worldwide. Two major limiting k t o r s of CDMA wire-less communications are Multiple Access Interference (MAI) and Inter-S p b o l Interference(ISI) . To meet the petformance and capacity requirements of next-generation digital wire-less systems, it is widely considered esrrential to utilize space-time processing with arrays ofantennas (smart antennae) so as to exploit the spatial diversity of wirelees systems.This research deals with the combined epaa+time signal processing at the receiverfor CDMA wireless communications- In particular, it focuses on linear receiver design formultiuser systems wing blind detection techniques.
