Abstract	:	Proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells were fabricated using anovel class of bis[(perRuoalkyl)sulfonyl] irnide ionomer materials synthesized byProfessor Darryl D. DesMarteau and coworkers at Clemson University. Theseimide materials were incorporated in catalyst layers and used as membranes infuel cell membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs).
