Abstract	:	A mobile Ad Hoc network is a temporay network established by the users withwireless interfaces. It operates without. any aid from the preexisting infrastructure.A mobile Ad Hoc network with 50 nodes was simulated and the protocols at t h e,Medium Access Layer (Carrier Sense Multiple Access, IEEE 802.1 1 ), Transport layer(Transport control Protocol. User Defined Protocol), Xetwork (Internet Protocol)and Setwork Routing layers (Bellman Ford Algorithm, Wireless Routing Protocol,Dynamic Source Routing, Location Aided Routing, Ad Hoc On Demand distanceVector) were studied. The best suitable protocols for this network at each layer wereproposed and the performance of the best routing protocol (Ad Hoc On Demanddistance Vector) was improved by modifying the parameters used in the protocol asper the need of the network..-....,....-...,..tested for theQ1 PC1 bus cardBoth these projects mere sofixare des elopment efforts tonards contributing to dlfferentaspects of Roboucs and lZ1echatronics projects m the Controls and Roboucs Group..
