Abstract : The spatial distribution of superconducting properties using Variable TemperatureScanning Laser Microscope (VTSLM) has been investigated. The scanning lasermicroscope is a hot spot scanning technique where a laser beam is scanned across asample to create a local heating, and the voltage response, 6V, due to the laser beam ismeasured h m the sample using a lock-in amptifier with respect to the position of thebeam.The superconducting thin film used in this study is an epitaxial YBa2Cu3@ filmphotolithographically patterned to a 300 pm-wide and 2.5 mm-long bridge.
