Abstract	:	Interoperability is the ability whereby a 3D CAD model built in one CAD systemis translated into a different CAD system with the translated model fully functional in thetarget CAD system. The details of how the geometry is defined must be available to theCAD application so that they can be hlly analyzed and manipulated. Cumtly there arevarious neutral file formats like IGES, SAT, STEP, which various CAD systemsrecognize and display.
