Abstract	:	In the summer of 2000, the &el for the University of Massachusetts-LowellResearch Reactor (UMLRR) was converted fiom high enriched uranium (HEU) to lowenriched uranium 0. Prior to the instauation of the new hel, several computermodels of the reactor were completed in an attempt to characterize a wide range ofoperational parameters, including the neutron and gamma radiation environments invarious irradiation hcilities. These models were designed primarily to characterize thebeginning of life (BOL) LEU and HEU cores; therefore, they use Cesh fuel densities.This research builds upon these previous BOL models and performs a detailed depletionanalysis for the UMLRR.
