Abstract : Artificial intelligence is a rapidly expanding area within the field of computerscience. An important aspect of artificial intelligence is the concept of computer adaptiveImming. The purpose of this research was to apply the concept of computer adaptivelearning to a new domain through the use of robotics. More specifically, this projectinvolved the design and implementation of a learning algorithm. which allowed a roboticputter to adapt to the layout of a putting surface and to improve its putting accuracy.
