Abstract	:	Charge transport through various hydrogen-bonded systems has been an area offocus in recent years. Simple theoretical models have been constructed to investigatethe formation and motion of defects in a one-dimensional chain of hydrogen-bondedsites. This work continues this analysis with regard to more complex systems thatexhibit proton motion in a double well. The model incorporates a classical Hamil-tonian and a modified tight binding Hamiltonian on which site energies are depen-dent on lattice displacements.
