Abstract	:	In the field of 3D graphics, quality and performance generally require expensivehardware. When the scene is extremely complex, or needs to be rendered at a highresolution, performance becomes critical. The typical approach is to spend large sums ofmoney on a powem computer with one large display.As the concept of distributed computing has demonstrated many times in the past,there may be a more cost.-effective solution using a cluster of low-cost workstations.Large displays can be created by combining many smaller displays together to dispIayone image, Some call them tiled displays, others call them video walls.This thesis explores the advantages of running 3D applications on a particularvideo wall system. Three design alternatives are presented for this objective and thencompared.
