Abstract	:	ABSTRACTAn understanding of passive Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology ispresented in this project. First, an extensive bibliographical research is done on thesystem components of the reader. the transponder, and its circuitry- Second. a RFIDtransponder is designed, simulated, and built using discrete components. Once completed,the output radiated signal from the transponder is observed on an oscilloscope.As part of this project, an integrated circuit of a passive transponder is studiedunder a microscope and several pictures are taken.
