Abstract	:	A method for minimizing Exclusive-OR Sum of Product (ESOP) forms of Booleanfunctions based on function on-set information is described. ESOP forms have beenproven to require fewer products than the more common Sum of Products (SOP) formsbased on the inclusive-OR operator for many classes of functions. Since finding theoptimal ESOP form requires the solution of the well-known set-covering problem,heuristic methods are used.
