Abstract : Structure formation of particle-based electrorheological fluidssubject to a uniformly distributed electrical field is investigated by anumerical modeling and simulation method. The structure composites areconsidered to be electrically nonconducting. Particles are treated as hardpolarizable spheres in a neutrally buoyant environment.
